Chirag Shah

Chief Executive Officer

Chirag brings business management and entrepreneurial skills to this long-cultivated dream project. Founder and CEO of a local law firm, Chirag has over 25 years of experience in business transactions as well as the full spectrum of labor,  employment, and employee benefits law. He received his LL.M. with honors from  Georgetown University Law Center, and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. As a “young” lawyer, Chirag was named one of 23 “Best Lawyers Under 40” by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and subsequently featured in a group cover story captioned Rising Young Stars: Top Asian-Pacific American Lawyers in an insert to American Corporate Counsel magazine. A year later, Chirag was the youngest person in history to be named “Law Star” by Chirag also has extensive personal experience serving on numerous governing boards and committees of a variety of nonprofit organizations as a component of his unwavering commitment to public and community service.

Jaya Lad


Jaya Lad is a natural leader with a decades-long proven track record in the hotel and hospitality industry. As owner and operator of four top franchise hotels across the United States, including California, New Mexico, and Texas, she knows the value of exceptional customer care and high-quality operations. Jaya manages large teams and complex hospitality logistics with unparalleled excellence. She brings immense value and leadership to the management team at Tulsi.

Besides being a terrific leader with incredible business acumen, Jaya is also a practicing chef with a yearning for learning and trying new cuisines and methods of food preparation. Her passion for cooking and a keen sense of flavor and quality have made Jaya’s culinary skills well known in the local South-Asian community.

Sid brings over fifteen years of food and beverage industry expertise to the Tulsi team. In addition to his management experience, he brings a genuine passion for the food and beverage business. A seasoned restaurateur, he was chosen to receive the Best South Asian Restaurant Entrepreneur award by Asian Business Awards network.

Sid is an expert in creating and executing product plans, marketing strategy, operations, and building teams. Sid has developed and consulted for several (fine dining as well as fast-casual) restaurants throughout India and in the United States, mainly in the State of California. He has led all aspects of restaurant operations, including merchandising, sales, customer service, coaching, and people development, inventory, and personnel and payroll management. Sid most enjoys pursuing innovative and creative concepts in customer service and brand development as well as motivating and guiding staff to build high-performance, cross-functional teams that embody a sound and strong work ethic and a total commitment to customer satisfaction- which is the most important metric in Sid’s assessment of his own work.

Sagar Ghosh

Corporate Executive Chef

Chef Ghosh is an ambitious young chef with a professional education in culinary techniques who has been trained by some of the most renowned chefs throughout the world, including India’s most well-known chefs and hospitality experts. Before beginning his career, he attended the Indus Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts as well as the Global School of Management, where he earned diplomas, respectively, in the culinary arts and the business side of food and beverage management. Chef Ghosh’s professional experience includes working for some of the finest restaurants in Kolkata, Pune, Miami, New York, Buena Park, and Tustin. Most recently, Chef Ghosh served as executive chef at a premier Indian fine dining franchise restaurant where he helped open and train the kitchen staff at three new locations.
